The gold content of the gold ornament sold by the company is of international standard . The net weight of the gold ornaments is up to decimal points accuracy . Due to the sensitivity of the weighing machines , there is a slight variation of +/-0.03 gram tolerance . Original receipts must be produced for any after-sales service . Trade-in gold ornament net weight sold by the company for new purchases of jeweler shall be calculated at the prevailing retail rate less 20% or 25% when the trade - in settled in cash . Any gem set jeweler sold by the company is not refundable . When applicable , minute items e.g spring , screw , hooks and other similar items , may be made of gold of other quality and / or other metals for manufacturing purposes . The company reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions herewith from time without prior notice . Ways to safeguard your jeweler to ensure lifetime satisfaction : All jeweler , including gold ornaments , gemstones , jades and pearls , should be kept away from Mercury , acid , oil and any other substances with similar qualities and must also be protected against extreme temperatures to prevent decolonization and /or any other form or quality deterioration . To avoid damages , it is advisable not to wear fine jeweler while engaging in sport activities . Delicate omega chains , flat chains and snake chains should not be worn to sleep to prevent permanent damage . We are not liable for any damage once the goods is sold .
